During August 2009 an exhibition entitled 'Memories and Stories of Times Past' was on display at The Hawth Theatre in Crawley. Produced by WRVS Heritage Plus in partnership with Crawley Museum, the display included photographs and final products from a range of Heritage Plus activities including the quilt of lost skills, an oral history of Crawley Veterans, the celebrations and special events bunting and the scarecrow of memories - he's become quite a local celebrity!

Over 400 people visited this exhibition and feedback comments included:

"It was wonderful" - Edith

"Well done, this is wonderful work. The town needs something like this."

and "I had no idea how much work was being done in Crawley".
