"It is wonderful to see the way that museum collections can stimulate such worthwhile interaction, and to see memories from the past being given such value." Janet Wildman from SEARCH Museum in Gosport.

In 2008 WRVS were successful in securing match funding from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. This funding will support the delivery of training for volunteers and staff from the Heritage Plus Project and each partnership museum in object handling and the use of loan boxes in reminiscence activity sessions.

Those attending the training will be expected to facilitate the delivery of eight remininiscnce sessions utilising the updated or newly developed boxes.
